The last time that Bisping took to the ring was on the 28^th of January this year in a Middleweight eliminator in the Chicago pay per view of the UFC where he lost to Chael Sonnen via a unanimous decision, thereby handing Sonnen a shot at the UFC Middleweight Championship against Silva.

But Michael Bisping cannot expect to take Boetsch, a former Light Heavyweight fighter lightly as he has already won all three of his fights since he joined the promotion back in 2011. Having won all his three fights relatively easily, Boetsch had targeted some high profile fighters of the UFC and the management agreed to hand him a match against Bisping who has also competed in the 205 pounds scale.

The British fighter will go on to take part in a seminar in his native United Kingdom in June before the match takes place and he hopes that he will be able to get enough training done by that time so that he can secure victory and therefore, a title shot against a big star such as Sonnen or Silva which is sure to put Michael Bisping permanently on the MMA world map.
